Adhesive locks prevent the automatic loosening of screw connections. Here microencapsulated adhesives are used (e.g. precote 30/80/85®, 3M Scotch-Grip™, Loctite Dri-Loc®) which, after release, mixing and reaction of adhesive and hardener (polymerisation), counteract internal loosening torques between the connection components as a material-locking connection between bolt and nut thread and thus achieve the desired securing effect in accordance with DIN 267, Part 27.
