Clamping loss protection devices cannot prevent a partial loosening of screwed connections, but they can prevent a complete disintegration according to the requirements of DIN 267, Part 28. Various polyamide coatings with 180° and 360° covers are used as coating materials, which produce a high surface pressure (frictional locking) and thus a clamping effect when screwed together.
